I visited MIM a few months ago while it was still under construction and only a handful of the museum’s 12,000 instruments were on display, and I can’t wait to go back. I’d like to see the Steinway that is cut into sections as well as the transparent piano that shows the instrument’s innerworkings as it is played. I’m also looking forward to the Experience Gallery where you’ll be able to play the instruments.
